Jul. 23rd, 2011 09:34 amYes, I've seen the photo. You all know which one I'm talking about, so I won't be posting it here. But if you're concerned about spoilers, stop reading now (why are you concerned about spoilers? Have you any idea how old this canon is? No, I will not cut for them).
It's not going to be from Scandal. I'm positive of it.
1. Moffat and Gatiss wouldn't gloss over something like that. It's a big plot point and can't be covered in 15 minutes.
2. There's an episode called the Reichenbach Fall slated as episode three of the new series. Obviously, this is meant to be the Final Problem.
3. Holmes is wearing his coat and scarf. Unless he asked Moriarty to sit tight whilst he put all that back on, it's a massive continuity error. One which people would notice in an instant.
If anything, that's going to be the image that ends series two; not starts it.
