Sherlock has been in the fandom for a long time, and for an upcoming plot, his journal needs to look like it. So I would like to invite you to comment on any of his entries from 2006. They start here and go forward several pages. Click the 'Next 10' link to get to more.

You can be as nasty or as nice to him as you like (though, for plot reasons, the preference is nasty) and anonymous commenting is on. A note on anonymous commenting: It's only an option for the first half of the entries. There is an OOC post that will let you know when in the continuity anonymous commenting has been disabled.

I can't tell you a whole lot about what's going on, and for the full story, you'll have to watch [livejournal.com profile] holmeschat. But in order to make commenting easier, I can tell you that Sherlock may or may not have been responsible for Carl Powers' getting arrested (in this continuity, Carl was a BNF of epic proportions), and Sherlock had not begun producing any fanworks yet.

These posts have all been backdated to 2006, and are ostensibly exposition for a new plot. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the dates on the comments, so kindly ignore the five-year gap between post and comments.

The five years gap sounds ~*charming*~. And here I was, worrying about commenting on entries a week old :P

Darnit, I have just met [livejournal.com profile] cons_detective, and I like him. I can't go back in time* and be rude to him. I'll have to see if I can find an old account or something to use.

*Inaccurate username is inaccurate.

New to this whole RP thing. Do you recommend getting involved with my IRL blog, or setting up something separate to jump in?

I'm afraid I'm too nice to leave nasty comments, even anon. XDD But I'll see what I can do! God, do I love these plots you guys come up with. I'm just flailing a bit over here due to You-Know-Who's sudden reappearance...

Honestly, I'm not quite sure how Sarah and Sherlock get on, especially before he got in a relationship with John. He pretty much had a huge crush on him for the longest time, and so probably disliked her (a lot) because of her past dating days with John, and her ongoing work-related relationship with him. So.

Basically I see it as her trying to be friendly, and him rebuffing her at every turn. Any input?

Woo, too lazy to change accounts!

I totally and completely agree 100% with everything. Sherlock is jealous of anybody who even makes eyes at John, so exes have a special little pocket of hate reserved just for them (though, I think he'll come round to Sarah much more quickly than he will Mary). I don't even know what to do when he finds out that John and Clara used to date, because he does rather like her.

Eventually, I think it would be nice to get them to a point where they can have a civil conversation that goes both ways. Right now, he's just avoiding and ignoring everybody on his dislike list, because he's trying to stop starting rows with people.

If you want to participate in the backdated stuff, you can do so anonymously or with a sock if you don't feel right doing it with Sarah.

Yup, that'd be great. Re: backdated entries, though, she might make one or two attempts to engage conversation, maybe offer some comfort over the bleakest ones, but she won't comment on the drug-related stuff, mostly because she has no wish to engage in a fight with him. She does admire his art, though, so she'll comment on that. (Both in the future and in the past, I mean.)

Some anon comments might also come up this week, if this new job thing doesn't kill me.

Awesome!

In-game, John's just sort of working out how to get through to him on these matters, which is why the fighting with Mary and Sally has finally stopped.

I think at this point getting them to talk shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe.

WHY ARE YOU SO SAD my feelings are conflicted on whether I want to hug Sherlock or smack him over the head for being a right idiot. :(

Hmmm, who would have been motivated to get Carl Powers arrested?
