Whatever your intention was with the cat, it hasn't worked. It's actually quite lazy and equally friendly. And the shedding isn't quite as bad as John's made it out to be. He was just wearing a black shirt when he held it. Of course the fur stood out.

I had a cat like that, rehomed for the same reason (except it was a boyfriend who was allergic), and he was fantastic. Very loving and easy-going. James lived 16 years, and if your new boy is anywhere near as good as him, you'll be very happy with him (and he with you).
